This design focuses on using sms messaging to this chadelier to create a message. By using the sms different messages can be sent from anyone's mobile phone to chandelier to allow people to suggestively leave their mark on the space in a extremely elegant way. This design was done for Ron Arad who designed the concept with Moritz Waldemeyer for Swarovski.
If you haven't heard of Moritz Waldemayer then it might be about time. He has done many different things for many different designers. His interaction design although for the more superficial realm of design are still rather beautiful. He can't help but you think differently about what interaction design really can be.
