i totally get the feeling. nice work. but do u think the menu style could be reconsidrd. to me its kinda not flirting with the entire site.. maybe try it bold.
This site has captured an appropriate look and feel for your target audience. It looks fun, it is informative, and gives the user an idea of the experience you are trying to convey, through design elements, and well chosen photos. Further line art images on the background of the secondary pages would lend variety and more of that 70's feel you are going for. The navigation is simple but effective.
