Very nice images/artwork. I would only just change the size of the images when you click to view a larger image. They open too big! But other than that very nice work!
There are a couple of simple things that you could do to make your website more functional and useable, and more consistent from a look and feel point of view. You are right, the front page button looks incongruous with the beautiful illustrated rendering. As we mentioned in class, please fix the profile page, it does not fit with the look and feel, and has no left hand border. Instead of the back button on all of the secondary pages, why not just create a simple universal navigation (just make your existing nav bar smaller, and move it to the right or left, and use your symbol as a 'logo' type home button). You could also consider not popping up new windows for the work but simply showing it larger, and using a scrolling or paging system for navigation at the secondary level.
